New Location.

Same Mission.

Our offer to purchase 1814 N Echo has been accepted!

Our story continues to be written as a church; it will just be in a new location. Our 4 years in our current Sunday location are coming to an end, and while we knew it was coming by the end of 2026, we have been surprised that by the end of May, we will be elsewhere.

May we be prayerful, expectant, and diligent in this season to remain on mission together as we search for a new Sunday gathering location. Below are ways to strengthen and join the story of Midtown as we search for a space to call home.

We are prayerfully seeking $600,000 by Friday, May 8th, for a down payment.

Will you prayerfully step into, with joy-filled and courageous generosity, to the story that God is writing in and through Midtown Vineyard Church?

ā€œIf your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." Exodus 33:15

A church building with a steeple, surrounded by a parking lot, green grass, and trees, with a sign indicating the address 1814 Echo Avenue in Fresno, California.

In just the past couple of weeks, a rare opportunity has arisen: a church property at 1814 Echo Ave is for sale in the Tower District, an area in our city with unique zoning codes, which, for the most part, limit religious gatherings to 2,000 sq. ft or less, unless already zoned properly.

This current LDS property is large enough for our church to gather and serve its community, nearly square in the middle of the larger Tower District, directly across from Fresno High School, and in line with several businesses that draw residents from all over our city.

In this space, we would continue to commit ourselves to life change through the love and power of Jesus. Throughout the week, connecting with the 2,000 students at Fresno High. Throughout the year, engage and offer social events that are fun and meaningful. And, like we haven’t been able to before, offer regular space for recovery, student ministries, marriage & single care, compassion in action, and so much more.

Your Questions, Answered

  • If we find ourselves in the situation where the funds for a down payment are raised, and our offer is not accepted on this building, we will communicate at least two options:

    1. Your giving can remain in our building fund and will go toward the costs of the new building we decide to pursue.

    2. As your giving may be specifically for this building, and you are unsure if you want to give toward another building, we will offer a full refund.

  • If we find ourselves in the situation where we do not reach our goal for the down payment, and we do not make an offer on this building, we will communicate at least two options:

    1. Your giving can remain in our building fund and will go toward the costs of the new building we decide to pursue.

    2. As your donation may be specifically for this building and you are unsure whether you want to give toward another building, we will offer a full refund.

  • Since the fall of 2025, our realtor and a small team have been actively looking for options, both to purchase and to rent.

While considering any building to make an offer on, as we have already in the past, we will continue pursuing other options to make sure we do not put all our eggs in one basket.

Additionally, we see this as a season where it is beneficial to keep all options on the table.

With that said, we will only communicate options when they become a viable opportunity worth inviting prayer and resources.

  • Yes, our leadership is working with a Commercial Real Estate agent who has experience with churches and non-profits.

Additionally, we have a small team from our congregation with finance, acquisition, and development experience, assisting and guiding our Leadership Team.

  • For this specific property, the LDS ask for proof of funds upon the final offer being received, before escrow begins.
