21 Days Prayer & Fasting

Making room for God to move.

A season to find, restore, and deepen dependence on God.

Looking for greater purpose?
Want to experience more peace?
Hoping to experience more of God this year?

Fasting is the spiritual discipline of restraining or abstaining from eating in order to gain something spiritually. What is central to the fast is the idea of humbling ourselves through self-denial. Fasting is a voluntary weakness.

If you would like to participate in prayer & fasting with others from Midtown and receive fasting resources and support, let us know!

January 5th - 25th

Begin Fasting

Every year, we set aside three intentional weeks to seek God together—creating space to listen, surrender, and realign our lives around Jesus. From Sunday, January 5 through Sunday, January 25, we invite you to join us in 21 days of prayer and fasting as we prepare our hearts for the year ahead.

If prayer or fasting feels unfamiliar—or even intimidating—know this: there is no “right way” to participate. You’re invited to start where you are. Some will fast a meal, others a day, others certain habits or distractions. What matters most is not the method, but the posture—making room to notice God and respond to His presence.

We believe God meets us when we make room, and we’re expectant for the ways He will speak, heal, and renew during this season—with prayers that don’t just shape these weeks, but ripple throughout the year and into the future of our church.

Additionally, each evening, a different local church will host a worship gathering, giving us the gift of experiencing the depth and diversity of our community while declaring together that we are one Church. Whether you come every night or just once, you are welcome.
